When we first began the journey of building our craftsman-style home, our initial assumption was that we would be able to manage the design aspects, along with attending to our builders. One of our responsibilities going into the build was to choose tiles, paint colours, hardware, accessories, and light fixtures; it seemed like something that would be easy to manage (especially with the years of accumulated Pinterest boards at the ready). Pretty simple, right? Well… two months later, we decided to hire a designer, and of course, we chose Meenu. She came highly recommended, and we had an instant connection. She’s warm, honest, listens well, and would even share her wonderful sources with us, like links to vintage heirlooms, outside of working hours; she was always there to lend a helping hand, no matter if it was day or night. Meenu offers a very special insight; one that almost feels like discovering a rare book that holds all the secrets of interior design; secrets we would never have learned had we been on our own. There are so many things to consider, from open light fixtures to colour matching, and after learning the secrets, it would be in your general interest (and your sanity, too) to hire a designer, and we recommend Meenu!
