Sunbury

This early 2000s townhouse had great potential hiding beneath a dated espresso kitchen and a colour palette that had grown heavy over the years. The goal was to bring light and warmth back into the home while celebrating the features worth keeping.

We began by refinishing the reclaimed fir floors on the main level, bringing their natural warmth and character back to life. The kitchen was completely reimagined, trading dark espresso for a fresh, bright space that now anchors the main floor. The powder room became a true jewel box, small in footprint but big on personality. The guest and primary bathrooms were updated to feel calm, current and cohesive with the rest of the home. Lightened paint colours, refinished interior doors and all-new door hardware carry the refresh through every room.

The result is a home that feels open, airy and connected from one space to the next, while still holding onto the character that made it special.

Sometimes the most meaningful transformations come from knowing what to keep, what to refresh, and where to be bold.
