This full kitchen renovation in an early 1950s home focuses on thoughtful reconfiguration to improve function, flow, and everyday living.
We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room to open up the footprint and allow light to flow freely throughout the space. The original layout featured a small window positioned above the cooktop, limiting both function and views. By reconfiguring the kitchen, we relocated the sink beneath a new, larger window, capturing beautiful views from the kitchen and moved the range to the opposite wall for a more efficient and practical layout.
Panel-ready appliances were selected to create a seamless, built-in look. To maximize storage, I designed custom cabinetry flanking the fridge/freezer, providing generous pantry space. An unused corner in the kitchen was transformed into a charming coffee bar with upper and lower cabinetry and open shelving, turning an overlooked area into a functional and inviting moment in the kitchen.
