This stunning custom home was designed with entertaining in mind! Working with an amazing family on their first custom build was a thrilling experience. We created an open-concept kitchen, dining, and family room, with ample space for guests to mingle and relax. The large custom island, complete with white quartz countertops and plenty of storage, is perfect for day-to-day living as well as hosting big family gatherings.

My clients requested a modern farmhouse look with the feel of casual warmth, and I was able to achieve this by incorporating white quartz countertops, polished nickel plumbing fixtures, and brass hardware and lighting. The zellige tile backsplash, with its irregular form and color, was the perfect touch to this farmhouse design. To ensure every detail was considered, I incorporated custom storage solutions wherever possible, including a hidden appliance garage to keep countertops clutter-free.

To add character and light, I layered the lighting in this project, using recessed pot lighting on dimmers, oversized brass pendant lights over the island, and glass sconces over the kitchen sink. The end result was a cohesive and inviting space that my clients were overjoyed with.
